Living in the heart of Burlington allows easy, walkable access to the Church Street Marketplace; dozens of restaurants, nightclubs and arts venues; and loads of events. The Waterfront district has seen some wonderful revitalization projects in the recent years, including the multi-use facility Main Street Landing, the development of new green space, skatepark, bike path access, a community sailing center and and the addition of a few much needed “city center” hotels, boasting magnificent lake views. The year-round Farmer’s Market attracts vendors from throughout the state, providing fresh food, produce, crafts, and flowers each weekend. Enjoy numerous musical acts at the Battery Park Concert Series.

The lively waterfront hosts the Burlington Boat House and Marina, ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center, Perkins Pier and Marina, and Lake Champlain Ferry. With numerous eateries, Foam Brewing, and the Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center.
Downtown you will find Edmunds Elementary and Middle School, the private Catholic Elementary and Middle School, and the Mater Christi School. A new revitalization project for the construction of a new public park connecting the Old North End to the Burlington Bike Path will provide public access to a forested trail and sandy beach, expanded space for community gardens, a new open play field, and the use of the existing stone house for the community
