As October drew to a close, the MHG was delighted with the turnout from our bicycle drive for the Old Spokes Home! From providing over 400 bikes each year to income-eligible Vermonters through our Everybody Bikes program, to teaching mechanics in our Apprenticeship Program, at Youth Shop, and in classes and workshops, to getting hundreds of people on refurbished bikes each year at Old Spokes Home... donated bicycles are fuel for our fire.

The goal of The Great Bicycle Harvest is to collect 100 donated bicycles by November 14th.

Here's how you can help:

Donate a bike.

 Donations are tax-deductible! Make space in your garage, feel good about helping people access bicycles, and get a tax-deductible receipt. Bikes can be dropped off at Old Spokes Home anytime during our open hours.

Spread the word.

A little taste: How to prep your home for sale
